General conditions
The general conditions for forwarding govern the rights and obligations of the parties involved in the transport and logistics process - the forwarder and the customer. It is important to note that the provision of forwarding services may be regulated by various national and international laws and conventions.
Below are the general conditions that apply to the provision of forwarding services by Yes Log EOOD. These terms and conditions are intended to govern the relationship between the freight forwarder and the customer and to ensure clarity and fairness in all commercial transactions.
1. Definitions:
“Forwarder” refers to Yes Log EOOD.
“Client” refers to the person or company that has commissioned the freight forwarder to perform freight forwarding services.
“Goods” includes all materials, cargo or goods subject to freight forwarding services.
2. Scope of Services:
The forwarder will perform the services described in the relevant contract or order, including but not limited to: route planning, transportation, loading and unloading, customs procedures and all other activities related to forwarding services.
3. Responsibilities of the Forwarder:
The forwarder undertakes to perform the forwarder services with the highest degree of professionalism and care.
The freight forwarder will take care of the storage and protection of the goods during transport.
The freight forwarder will comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the performance of freight forwarding services.
4. Responsibilities of the Customer:
The customer must provide accurate and complete information about the goods subject to the forwarding services.
The customer is responsible for signing and approving all necessary documents and permits for the carriage of the goods.
The customer must pay the freight charges and payment terms as agreed.
5. Insurance of the Goods:
The customer is responsible for insuring their goods during their transport. The freight forwarder can provide insurance information and assistance upon request.
6. Waiver and Termination:
The freight forwarder has the right to refuse the performance of forwarding services at its own discretion, if it considers that this is in violation of laws or ethical norms. In such event, the customer will be notified immediately.
7. Privacy:
The information exchanged between the freight forwarder and the customer is considered confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties without the written consent of the customer.
8. Court Permissions:
All disputed issues related to this contract will be considered and resolved by the competent court of the Republic of Bulgaria.
These general terms and conditions for freight forwarding services will be considered accepted and applied after the conclusion of a written contract or order between the customer and the freight forwarder.
